Gordon Howard
Gordon Howard has a BA from the University of Queensland, and an AMusA, and taught Music, English and Maths at secondary schools in Queensland between 1965 and 2000. Since then he has worked part-time on supply and short contracts at various schools, supervising and teaching a wide variety of subjects.
He is married and has two adult sons, both of whom work in IT. He has always maintained an interest in science at a ‘popular press’ level, only recently realizing the significance of science to the authority of the Bible, and beginning to read more deeply in relevant areas.
Gordon has a keen interest in studying and teaching about the Bible, and maintains his musical skills. One of Gordon’s goals in retirement is to travel more widely in Australia to observe and explain to others how the landscape demonstrates evidence for the biblical history of the earth.
Some of his articles are:
- The blue rose
- Facing the light
- Can all those scientists be wrong?
- Teenage mutant ninja people
- Index fossils—really?
- And then there was life
- It’s super-natural (naturally)
- The bee and the postman
- Kid Con
- Many hands made the lights go on
- The illusion of millions of years
